The work below represents the variety of projects that Ms. Bhagwati has worked on in the course of her corporate and consulting career prior to starting HCMCA.

End-to-end HR Process
Developed an HR strategy for a consumer products company, aligned with their business goals. Identified culture elements based on a defining session with the business team. Developed and defined organizational and leadership competencies aligned with the cultural elements and the business objectives.

Performance Management System
Facilitated meetings of senior global business and HR managers of a specialty chemicals company to establish guidelines for a new performance management system. Designed and established the performance management system based on discussions and draft recommendations. Trained managers on the use of the system and writing effective and objective evaluations.

Recruiting and Staffing Processes
Designed and established a recruiting strategy for an automobile company spin-off, based on business goals and needs. Facilitated design sessions with HR and Line Managers to establish the essential elements of the recruiting process. Identified and evaluated recruiting software products to fit with internal staffing needs and IT systems.

Designed, developed and implemented the recruiting and staffing strategy and process for a B2B airline consortium. Identified sourcing venues for filling senior management positions.

Compensation Process
Analyzed the philosophy and approach of the Base Pay systems of seven business units of a conglomerate, redesigned and created a uniform pay structure to be administered by a centralized pay system. Made recommendations and changes resulting from the uniform pay structure implementation on critical issues such as internal mobility, compliance, performance management and merit reviews.

Training Development and Delivery
Developed training material related to a newly established performance management system for a services company. Established and determined training delivery method and logistics; determined audience needs and identified managers eligible for receiving training. Delivered training to over 200 managers as part of the “train the trainer” program.

Merger & Acquisition Integration
Integration expertise and project management was provided to an international technology firm to merge Compensation, Benefits and Payroll functions in the Asia Pacific region for two global acquisitions. It was accomplished by coordinating efforts with internal representatives, as well as a team of associates to deliver on the agreed upon terms and conditions of the acquisition for each of the ten countries in the region.

Sales and Service Incentive Plan Integration and Design
A Sales and Service Incentive plan was created to integrate five disparate Sales and Service teams as a result of four acquisitions in ten countries in the Asia Pacific region. Onsite project management was provided, including leading and facilitating design meetings to establish strategic direction, determining various plan elements including performance measures, setting targets, and performing quantitative modeling to understand the financial implications.
